Tell us your device model, iOS version and the app version (Settings in the app), and what you expected to happen. If a card has a value you think is wrong, name the card and the setting — those reports are especially welcome.

Common questions

How do I restore Shutterbook Pro on a new or reset iPhone?

Sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to buy Pro, open Shutterbook, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchase. You won’t be charged again.

If it doesn’t work, check that you are signed in with the right Apple ID and have a connection, then try again. Still stuck? E-mail us — we can’t see your Apple ID or payment, but we will help you sort it out with Apple.

How do I get a refund?

App Store purchases are refunded by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Does Shutterbook work without a connection?

Yes. Every card, illustration and table ships inside the app, so it works in airplane mode, abroad without data, or in the middle of nowhere. The only things that need a connection are the ads in the free version — without a signal, their spaces simply stay empty — and buying or restoring Pro.

How do I change the theme or use night mode?

Go to Settings → Theme and pick light, dark or red. Red shows everything in dim red on black, which helps your eyes stay adapted to the dark during night and astro shoots. Turn your screen brightness down as well for the full effect.

My camera says “A”, the card says “Av / A”. Is that the same?

Yes. Camera makers use different letters for the same modes: aperture priority is Av on some dials and A on others; shutter priority is Tv or S. Shutterbook shows both, so the card matches your dial whatever brand you shoot.

What is Live Shoot?

Open a card and tap Live Shoot. The settings fill the screen in landscape, with big numerals and the screen kept awake. Adjust any value by a stop and the others rebalance to keep the same exposure. Swipe to move between your starred cards.

What does Shutterbook Pro include?

Pro is a one-time purchase that removes all ads from the app, for good. It isn’t a subscription. Every card is available in the free version too.

How do I change my ad privacy choices?

Tracking permission can be changed any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See the Privacy Policy for the rest.
